Designed for American Indian and Alaska Native communities, this two-sided fact sheet informs people about commercial tobacco product waste (TPW): what constitutes TPW, statistics about litter, the harmful toxins that leach into the environment, and the challenges of recycling and disposing of the toxic trash. The fact sheet calls for people to hold tobacco companies responsible for TPW and encourages people to quit using commercial tobacco. Available in Spanish See page 37.

Keeping California Golden This two-sided fact sheet informs the general public about tobacco product waste (TPW): what constitutes TPW, statistics about litter, the economic impact, fire danger, and the harmful toxins that leach into the environment. The fact sheet calls for people to take a stand against TPW and demand a healthy environment for everyone. See page 37.

Tobacco and Mental Health This fact card urges people to consider that using tobacco can actually cause mental health problems, such as increased stress and anxiety. And when people smoke or vape nicotine during adolescence, while their brains are still developing, they are more likely to become addicted. Includes information on how to get help to quit and cope with stress. See page 43.

Your Health Matters to the People You Protect This fact sheet is designed to help firefighters, especially in rural communities, understand the health risks of using all kinds of tobacco products, especially smokeless tobacco. It describes some of the short- and long term health problems smokeless tobacco can cause and lists where to find free help to quit tobacco. See page 43.
