Get Real This 3-year program for middle school emphasizes social and emotional learning skills and responsible decision making. It promotes abstinence as the healthiest choice, provides comprehensive information on protection methods, and supports parents as sexuality educators. Available in Spanish. and other activities help youth practice the skills they need to negotiate abstinence and handle social pressures. IN . clued This LGBTQ+-centered program addresses the sexual health disparities affecting LGBTQ+ youth across the United States. The dual approach combines LGBTQ+ youth-friendly health services with direct, relevant, and inclusive sex education. Making a Difference! With this program, youth ages 12-14 learn that abstinence is the surest way to eliminate the risk for pregnancy and STDs, including HIV. Roleplays, small-group discussions, Reducing the Risk This program for high school students emphasizes developing skills such as risk assessment, communication, decision making, planning, refusal strategies, and delay tactics. Abstinence is presented as the safest choice, but guidelines on protection are included for sexually active students.

Making Proud Choices! Based on cognitive-behavioral theories, this program is designed to empower adolescents with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to reduce their risk of STDs, HIV and pregnancy by abstaining from sex or using condoms if they choose to have sex. Available in Spanish.

Draw the Line/ Respect the Line

Designed for grades 6, 7, and 8, this HIV, STD, and pregnancy prevention

program teaches how to set personal limits, address social

pressures, and respect the limits of others. Includes exercises to develop parent-child communication skills.

Respecting the Circle of Life This program is an STD/HIV and pregnancy prevention program for Native American youth between the ages 11 and 19 and their parents or other trusted adults. The primary goal is to give youth the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves from unplanned pregnancy and STDs. Promoting Health Among Teens! ( Comprehensive ) Students ages 12-14 learn about puberty, STDs, HIV, and pregnancy prevention through a lively, interactive curriculum. They learn the skills they need to stay abstinent but also learn how to use a condom if they choose to have sex.
